A concept that was inspired from a hot line that in turned created a motive to strategically market and increase followers specifically for House Music! Anything and everything that consists of creating longevity for this subculture should be accepted and respected. With that said, the word "gangster" is used in referenced to those who have that undying commitment & passion for house music, bottom line! If that's you...then you're house gangster! House Music for life, it always has been and it always will be.

Dirtybird Showcase

It's Invasion Day long weekend and the promotors of Perth are bringing the goods, with the likes of international deejay's Derrick Carter, Sasha, Andre's, Peter Van Hoesen and not to mention the Big Day Out Festival all touring over the long weekend, you would think the most isolated city in the world could do no more. Wrong. Tonight is the Dirtybird Showcase at Ambar, with the head honcho himself Claude Von Stroke, Justin Martin and J.Phlip all displaying the quirky bass-booty funk that is Dirtybird, this will be next level. 2013 kicked of in amazing style with the Mobilee team hosting And.Id (Greece) at the Floreat Kiosk. And.Id is Mobilee's master of swung beats and live brass, he characterises his rythmic productions as "body moving" and "mind grooving" - and that he did. Playing a intimate set starting with deep house to old school disco classics and finishing with some sexual fresh indie nu - disco, I personally couldn't of asked for a better way to start the year! Special mention to the supporting deejays James A, Saul Bliss and Aarin F for setting the mood early.
